Wangsheng's Customized Equipment Solution

Dongguan Wangsheng Automation Equipment Co., Ltd. designed and delivered a complete pouch cell pilot line for MATenergy in January 2025. This was not a standard catalog configuration. Wangsheng's engineering team specified each unit based on MATenergy's material characteristics, with the electrolyte injection section excluded from scope from the outset -- a configuration decision driven by the dry-process requirements.

Beyond the equipment list, Wangsheng's team provided the production floor layout design for MATenergy's pilot line facility -- zone planning for dry-area operations, equipment spacing for maintainability, and material flow optimization to ensure the physical environment supported the production workflow as effectively as the machines did. Wangsheng engineers also participated in on-site commissioning, working alongside MATenergy's R&D team to validate the line against their specific material system.

The Result

With the Wangsheng-configured line operational, MATenergy successfully produced small batches of solid-state lithium pouch cells using their proprietary ceramic solid electrolyte film as the ion conduction layer. The solid electrolyte integrated into the cell assembly workflow without requiring modification to electrode preparation or formation stages -- because those process stages had been correctly configured from the start.
